a place to stay? check!

Slowly but surely we are putting the pieces together for our trip next summer.  Today we finalized accommodations for a flat right in the midst of Westminster, within walking distance to all the “traditional” London attractions.  As expected, rates during the Olympics are double what they would normally be, but I’m just happy that we have a place to stay.  And not just any place, but our own little flat with everything we need to settle in for a week.  350 days to go…

the beginning

I’m thinking very far ahead to our London trip next summer.  We’ll have so much to show and tell, and we are going to do it right here.  We have officially purchased tickets to three Olympic events, and when those tickets arrive in the mail it will all start seeming much more real.  2012 Olympics here we come…
